Chun-Yi Chang
Chun-Yi Chang’s work focuses on the presentation of light reality within digital images. In recent years, her works have emphasized the exploration of imagination and experience. She accomplishes coexistence of the eternal and the ever-changing by alternating motion and motionless scenes, and reorganizes the different facets of a single phenomenon into plausible events which are aberrations of normality. She uses the “floating light” and “glimpse” of digital images to remodel a sense of light reality that wavers between reality and virtual reality.
Born in Taipei, and based in Paris, Chun-Yi Chang received an MA from the Rouen College of the Arts and her PhD the University of Paris Sorbonne. In 2009, she was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture for a residency at 18th Street Arts Center, Santa Monica. She was also awarded the Gerda Henkel Stiftung scholarship in 2013. Chang’s participation in exhibitions include the 5th and 11th White Night (la Nuit Blanche) and 6th Young Artists Biennale, Paris, and French-Chinese Young Artists, Today Art Museum, Peking.

Allard van Hoorn
Allard van Hoorn investigates relationships to our environment incorporating the disciplines of architecture, design, music and dance. He visually, acoustically and spatially transcodes our usage and perception of cities and nature in order to question preconceptions and experiences of the spaces we live and work in. Through mapping and the subsequent re-ordering of embedded rituals, rules and routines in buildings and public spaces, he allows for reinterpretation of form and function taking into account the inherent impossibility of complete description of our world by manmade systems.
Allard van Hoorn (Leiden, The Netherlands, 1968) has been shown at biennials in cities including Istanbul, Shenzen and Gwangju. His work has also been shown at the de Appel Arts Centre and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Storefront for Art and Architecture, New York City; Pinakothek der Moderne, Zurich; the Moore Space, Miami; MoCA and Zendai MoMA, Shanghai; Art Rotterdam; Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven; Gasworks, London; CCCB, Barcelona; Museu de Arte Moderna, Salvador; Museo de la Ciudad de México, the German Architectural Centre, Berlin and Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati. He currently collaborates as Outpost with OfficeUS, the official participation of the United States at the Venice Architectural Biennial. He tutors at the Architectural Association in London.

Anna Jermolaewa
Anna Jermolaewa works primarily in the mediums of photography, video, and installation. Her main interest is the analysis of functional structures of society and social systems in everyday life. She continually focuses on the basic conditions of human existence and the nature of man, capturing the relationship between the individual and the masses, freedom and restriction, power and powerlessness, (especially around relationships and networks of hegemonic structures). Her photographs and videos provide information about a world of failure, through conscious and unconscious fears, desires, and passions. The result is a reflection on individual and collective historical consciousness in the form of images that remain in the viewers’ mind. Through the visual telling of history and stories, she attempts to create places of remembrance.
Anna Jermolaewa was born in 1970 in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) and is currently based in Vienna. In 1998 she graduated in Art History at the University of Vienna and in 2002 the New Media class of Peter Kogler at the Vienna Art Academy. She was a Professor for Media Art at the University of Arts and Design, Karlsruhe, Germany from 2005-2011. She also had solo exhibtions in the Victoria Art Gallery, Samara (2013); Camera Austria, Graz (2012); Kunsthalle Krems (2012); Institute of Contemporary Art, Sofia (2011); Kunstverein Friedrichshafen (2009); XL Gallery Moscow (2008); and Museum Moderner Kunst, Passau (2004). Her works are part of various collections including the Stedelijk Museum, Friedrich Christian Flick Collection, Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, MUMOK-Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig, Wien, Volpinum Kunstsammlung, Museum Startgalerie Artothek, Vienna, Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum, Vehbi Koc Foundation, Kontakt.
