Raimundo Edwards
Raimundo Edwards’ most recent work has to do with the displacement and twisting of pictorial language, through the material and conceptual relationships that develop in the combination of different states of representation: from painting to photography, video and object. In general terms, the main focus of his work lies in the relationship between nature and culture, the coming together of organic elements with elements belonging to the industrial world, placed in combination in a specific architectural space. Thus, color and form become parts of a fragmented assemblage, in which different visual, material and symbolic relationships take place.
Raimundo Edwards (born 1979 in Santiago) holds a BFA from Finis Terrae University and an MA in Visual Arts from the University of Chile. He received the International Association of Art Critics award in 2009 and second prize in the Museo de Artes Visuales, Santiago, Cabeza de Raton competition in 2011. His solo exhibitions include: Retorno, Museo de Artes Visuales, Santiago, 2013; Colisin, Oficina Barroca, Santiago, 2012; Sintaxis, AIEP Sala de Arte, Santiago, 2012 and Cromo (CR), Galeria Centro, Talca, 2010. He has participated in a number of group shows both in Chile and abroad including: Arquelogias a Destiempo, Galeria Gabriela Mistral (curated by Rodrigo Alonso), Santiago, 2012; Naturata, Galeria Florencia Loewenthal, Santiago, 2010; USVtv videoicomiso, Museum of the City of Queretaro. Asae Soya
Asae Soya works interdisciplinarily with painting, installation and video installation. Among her main series of works are an oil-painting series that depicts familiar daily objects, such as a bathtub, water drop and airport; an installation series that visualizes scenes in which colors create a sense of sound; and a video-installation series that projects an animated film pervading the entire space with images of the forest of colors. Those series, which are focused on the idea of perceiving the world, are all filled with vibrant colors and light, while also possessing a dynamic sensation and subtlety that can awaken not only just viewers’ visual senses but also their physical sensations.
Asae Soya received her doctorate in painting from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2006. Her awards include the First Prize in Vision of Contemporary Art, 2002 and the SHELL ART AWARD, 2002. Her recent solo exhibitions include sora-iro, Art Tower Mito, 2013; Float, Nishimura Gallery, 2011; Swim, Obuse Museum, 2011 and Ringing, Shiseido Gallery, 2010. Her group exhibitions include shows at Fuchu Art Museum, Art Tower Mito, Sezon Museum of Modern Art, and PYO Gallery, Beijing. Soya has major public works in the Sankei Building, Totsuka Ward Office, Art Tower Mito, Takamatsu City Museum of Art, and Tokyo Station Gallery. In 2013, Soya’s collection of works Asae Soya: sora-iro (color of the air) was published by Seigensha Art Publishing.

Richard Loskot
Richard Loskot’s work reveals various physical, mental and symbolic attributes of the time-space reality. Loskot’s production includes sound installations, different simulations of natural phenomena – whether biological growth or sound and light conditions – and the reflection of the achievements of civilization. In spite of this technological orientation, Loskot’s installations may surprise the viewer with their aesthetic intuition. The impact on the senses is somewhere between science fiction and thoughtful metaphysics
Richard Loskot (born 1984 in Most), graduated in 2011 with a degree in Visual Communication from the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Liberec. He took an internship in Atelier of Magdaléna Jetelová at The Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. Loskot won the Exit 2007 Prize for his work System.
